Philosophy
I believe that you are the expert on your life. Even when you feel the most lost, you have wisdom and experience that can help you to find your way again. All my work is based on the idea that you can find this innate wisdom and strength when you’re given the chance.
My job is to help you find your inner wisdom and accompany you along the way. Sometimes you will find your own solutions just by talking through things; sometimes I’ll offer tools or different ways of approaching a problem that can help you to find new solutions. Sometimes the most important thing is simply to have your story heard, and this in and of itself helps you to move forward. I work collaboratively with you as a team to figure out how you can make the changes you’d like to see.

Therapy with me is an exploration of your deepest self, a process of growing into your limitless potential, and a journey of becoming more vibrantly alive.
My therapeutic style is eclectic, using a variety of techniques tailored to match your particular needs. It is also holistic, meaning that I always look at you as whole person rather than a set of symptoms. I draw on humanistic counseling to build a safe and respectful space for you, which is fundamental to all of our work together. I also employ psychodynamic theory, attachment theory, existential counseling, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), internal family systems (IFS), and mindfulness-based techniques depending on your goals.
